Border Patrol agent arrested for bringing illegal immigrant into the U-S

TUCSON, Ariz. A Border Patrol agent has been arrested today after he allegedly brought an illegal immigrant into the U-S.
Thirty-two-year-old Ephraim Cruz of Douglas was arrested today at the Tucson Sector Border Patrol Headquarters after a federal grand jury returned a five-count indictment.

The indictment alleges that on or about January 22nd, Cruz knowingly brought an illegal immigrant into the U-S.

Cruz is also charged with harboring, concealing, or shielding an illegal alien and with transportation of an illegal alien.

Two other counts allege that Cruz failed to report the illegal entry and that he aided and abetted the entry of an illegal alien.

A conviction means prison time and a stiff fine.

Cruz was released on his own recognizance after an initial appearance late this afternoon.

I have heard that 40% of the employees of the INS are Hispanic? Is this true? How can this be when they are hardly 12% of the population? Tancredo or somebody should be raising cain about this should he not? LOL Maybe the federal government needs to do a little better job of recruitment for ICE? What is that word DIVERSITY? I know the State Department spends your tax dollars recruiting MINORITIES for the Foreign Service and here we seem to have a reverse proportion and nobody says a word.

Maybe I have my facts wrong on this...?

    Hispanic Immigration Agents

The majority of positions for Immigration Inspector are near the southern border in areas where the Hispanics are a large per centage of the population. Just because one Hispanic Immigration Inspector breaks the law does not mean that they all do.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
