Border Patrol agents apprehend 11 undocumented immigrants near Benavides, TeXAS

HEBBRONVILLE, TX (KGNS) - A small vehicle pursuit leads to the discovery of nearly a dozen undocumented immigrants near Benavides, Texas.
According to Border Patrol, agents at the Hebbronville station received a call regarding a white Chevrolet Silverado believed to be involved in illegal activity.
Agents provided a description of the vehicle to the Duval County Sheriff’s Office who found the vehicle on FM2295.
When the driver noticed the presence of law enforcement, the driver veered of the road, drove through a fence and struck a utility pole, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
The occupants got out of the vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
Agents arrived at the scene and with the help of CBP Air and Marine Operations, they were able to locate 11 undocumented immigrants.
The immigrants were found to be in good health and were determined to be from Mexico and Guatemala.
All of the subjects were processed and the vehicle was seized by the Duval County Sheriff’s Office.
