Border Patrol Agents Arrest Illegal Alien Wanted for Rape by Instrumentation and Sexual Battery

Release Date: October 20, 2020

Ogdensburg, N.Y. - On Sunday, October 18, U.S. Border Patrol Agents encountered Nam Huu Nguyen, 46, a Vietnam national following a vehicle stop near Ogdensburg. Nguyen was found to have an extraditable felony warrant in Oklahoma for Rape by Instrumentation and Sexual Battery.

Agents also determined Nguyen was not in possession of any immigration documents or status that would legally allow him to be in, or remain in the United States.

Furthermore, Nguyen was found to have been ordered removed by an Immigration Judge in 2012.

“This arrest is another great example of the hard work Border Patrol agents do every day to make communities safer as well as secure our nation’s border” said Ogdensburg Station Patrol Agent in Charge Timothy Morgan.

Border Patrol contacted the District Court of Payne County in Oklahoma who will extradite Nguyen based on the warrant of arrest.
