Border Patrol agents arrest Mexican man just 10 days after he was deported
Friday, June 2nd 2017
Border Patrol agents arrested a Mexican man Thursday near Roma — just 10 days after the federal government deported him.
Agents arrested Luis Alberto Vasquez-Arvizo near Roma.
"Record checks revealed the Defendant was formally Deported/Excluded from the United States on May 23, 2017, through San Ysidro, California," according to the federal criminal complaint.
Vasquez is charged with illegal re-entry.
Court records don't list an attorney for Vasquez, who remains in federal custody and couldn't be reached for comment.
