Border Patrol Agents Nab Illegal Alien for Re-Entering U.S.
Wanted in connection with Oregon manslaughter case

TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended a 37-year-old man Mexican national with an active felony warrant.
He was arrested for illegally entering the United States by agents assigned to the Casa Grande station.
During processing, agents used the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification system and found that he had an active warrant out of Oregon for negligent vehicular manslaughter back in 1996. The record check also revealed a 1991 conviction for sodomy, also in Oregon, for which he was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
He is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney's Office for re-entry of an aggravated felon. Following federal prosecution, he will be turned over to Oregon authorities to face the manslaughter charges.
