MEXICO CITY (AP) - A deported Mexican immigrant who holed up in a Chicago church to fight for immigrants' rights is asking President Barack Obama to stop raids and deportations of illegal immigrants in the United States.

Elvira Arellano says she is hopeful that Obama will help pass immigration reform that stops dividing families.

Arellano told reporters Wednesday outside the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City that she gave American officials a letter asking Obama to sign an executive order to stop the deportation of illegal immigrants.

Arellano sought sanctuary for a year before she was deported to Mexico in 2007. She lives in a small town in western Mexico with her U.S. citizen son and writes columns for U.S. newspapers.

She can plead all she wants, he dare not do such a thing, he knows it would be outrageous for the U.S. to simply stop enforcing it's own laws on the request of one lone criminals boohoo story.

She knows it's a lot easier to bamboozle ours! Besides, fixing her own government and nation would take way too long and require waaaaay too much work. That's why they're here in the first place...to sorry and too lazy to actually fix anything. It's so much easier to steal it from people who have already done all the work and all the dying and now been brain washed into feeling guilty for being successful.

They need to put a muzzel on her.........she wore out having any influence on most here.

Don't worry woman, no one wants to separate illegal aliens from their kids in the US. You take your kid(s) with you back to your country. Have a nice day now.

Millions of Americans have lost their jobs, no need for illegal alien labor. I remember Obama saying we are a "nation of laws", and the law is ENFORCEMENT.
