Border Patrol Arrests 2 Mexicans Entering U.S. on Jet Skis

Jet skis like these were used by the two. Photo courtesy Border Patrol Border Patrol agents arrested a man and woman at the south end of Silver Strand State Beach Thursday after they entered the United States illegally on Jet Skis.

At approximately 5:00 a.m., members of the Joint Harbor Operations Center notified the Border Patrol and Coast Guard personnel that two Jet Skis had been seen crossing from Mexico into U.S. waters.

Border Patrol agents responded to the drop off area and arrested the two individuals, both Mexican nationals, as they emerged from the surf.

In addition to facing Federal charges for illegal entry, a records check also revealed that the male suspect had an outstanding warrant from San Diego County for possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
