Border Patrol arrests 44 illegals near Douglas

U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Douglas station arrested a large group of illegal aliens on Sunday, according to a press release.

A total of 41 illegal immigrants were arrested west of Douglas. The subjects were transported to the Douglas Border Patrol Station for further processing.

Also Sunday, agents from Douglas arrested an illegal immigrant from Mexico near St. David.

Records checks revealed that the individual had been convicted of sexual intercourse with a child age 16 or older. The person was held for further processing.

And, on Monday, agents assigned to the Willcox station arrested an illegal immigrant from Mexico near Willcox.

During an interview, the individual admitted he had belonged to the “West Sideâ€
