Border Patrol canine team find almost $4 million in meth on bus (USBP)

SIERRA BLANCA, Texas — Officials found almost 120 pounds of meth hidden on a bus during an immigration inspection of a bus at a checkpoint May 3.

According to U.S. Border Patrol, an agent and his canine partner were inspecting the bus when the two found two suitcases in the lower luggage compartment.

Inside the suitcases were 90 bottles with liquid meth, weighing 118 pounds.

After finding the drugs, officials say they could not find out which passenger had put the meth on the bus, so no arrests have been made.

Although officials couldn't give an exact estimate, they say the meth is worth almost $4 million.
