Critics argue the plan is a threat to the official language of America. The Dallas Council of PTAs says the solution shouldn’t be forcing principals to learn Spanish, but instead making the parents learn English.

What a novel idea. Parents learning English in America.

Sounds like it to me.
Or maybe they mean, for example, the hispanic population is 43%, the white population is 25%, the black population is 25% and other is 7%.
So the hispanic population would be the "majority." Who knows??

IT IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS FOR AMERICANS TO HAVE TO LEARN ANOTHER LANGUAGE IN OUR OWN COUNTRY!

Do we go to Mexico and expect them to learn English?

That would mean LANGUAGE - NOT nationality or race.
Therefore I'll ask again............

Because if it is and this is what will be taught in math courses by the Spanish speaking AMERICAN teachers/principles...............all our children are doomed!

It's so wierd. Not that I'm pointing any fingers, yea right, lol. But none of us can spell very well anymore and our grammar is lacking too

The important thing is that we get our point(s) across. This ain't the English website.
