SONOITA, Ariz. - Southern Arizona border agents made some big pot busts in the Border Battle -- keeping more than $1million worth of drugs off the streets.

The first bust occurred Thursday night in Sonoita when agents saw a vehicle driving off-road near State Route 83.

Agents discovered 324 pounds of pot in that vehicle.

Two Mexican nationals, ages 17 and 21, tried to get a way on foot but were arrested.

On Friday morning, Ajo agents discovered a vehicle driving off-road with its lights out.

Agents later found it abandoned with nearly 1,900 pounds of marijuana inside.
