Border Patrol agents arrested a trucker Wednesday night at the Falfurrias checkpoint, where they found 33 immigrants hiding in a tractor-trailer. Agents arrested Randy F. Davis, 53 of Pharr, according to federal court records. They also apprehended 33 immigrants who weren’t lawfully present in the United States. Border Patrol agents stopped Davis at 9 p.m. Wednesday, according to the criminal complaint against him. Davis said he was hauling produce, according to the criminal complaint, but a K-9 named “Tomy” alerted to the trailer. When Border Patrol agents opened the trailer, they found 33 immigrants. “It was determined that all thirty-three individuals located in the trailer were undocumented aliens,” according to the criminal complaint.
