Federal authorities detained 72 undocumented immigrants at a stash house in Brownsville Thursday morning.

U.S. Border Patrol spokesman Daniel Tirado said agents responded to an anonymous call and investigated a house on the 1300 block of Coral Court.

The immigrants were from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua, he said.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Nina Pruneda confirmed ICE agents were also at the scene.
