This photo provided by Alpine Police Department shows Robert Fabian, who has been indicted on a charge of
murder in the death of Zuzu Verk. Fabian was arrested Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, on a charge of tampering with
or fabricating physical evidence by concealing a human corpse.
Over a month after Zuzu Verk's remains were found in a shallow grave in West Texas, her boyfriend, Robert Fabian, has been indicted with murder, Alpine police said Friday.
Fabian, 25, was indicted by a Brewster County Grand Jury, according to a post by Alpine Police on Facebook. He is being held on a $750,000 bond.
Verk's cause of death is still pending at this time.

The arrest affidavit for Robert Fabian, who was Verk's boyfriend, provides a police account of the chaotic hours and days that followed Verk's disappearance,
specifically following the actions of Fabian and his friend, Chris Estrada.
An affidavit obtained by mySA.com states that Fabian was the last person to see Verk, on October 11, 2016.

Law enforcement discover human skeletal remains together with thin plastic sheets, consistent to the painter's drop cloths purchased by Fabian and Estrada
Oct. 12, in a shallow grave in Brewster County.
Three days after the 22-year-old Sul Ross State University student went missing, police searched Fabian's apartment and saw that his bed had no sheets or pillow cases and found a plastic painter's drop cloth he purchased Oct. 12, 2016.
A neighbor's account to police about the early morning hours of Oct. 12 paint a strange picture of what happened at Fabian's apartment the night Verk went missing.
Fabian was arrested Feb. 4, a day after Verk's remains were found in shallow grave near Alpine, about five months after she was first reported missing. He was booked on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence in concealing a human corpse.
