LAREDO, TEXAS – U.S. Border Patrol agents at the Freer Border Patrol checkpoint encountered another callous human smuggling attempt west of Freer, Texas.

The incident transpired during the early morning of August 18, when a tractor hauling a trailer approached the checkpoint. During an immigration inspection of the driver, a Service canine alerted agents to the vehicle.
