Have no idea why Rand voted No, as he had said earlier that trump won Big Victory with Border Wall Deal, there must have been something else he saw he didn't like.

There's no coming back from this. No "emergency" or presidential powers will allow him to build the wall, ever, after he signs this bill. Trump has just agreed to fully open borders.

Kris Kobach talks about Poison Pills. He says Section 224 is a defacto amnesty. It can cover up to one million people, including distant relatives as sponsors of unaccompanied children.

President Trump cannot impose border fees.

Will face court challenges when National Emergency declared.

I believe it will cover more than 1 million. Look closely at the language in that poison pill.

Section 224 (a) says that ICE may not remove any sponsor or *potential sponsor* or *member of a household* of a UAC.

Those who do not have a UAC already here will fetch one PDQ, and our government will assist them in doing so.

So they turned over a couch cushion and found 8 billion. Odd that couch cushion couldn't have been turned over sometime in the past 2 years. Give it a day or two for the Bill to be signed and the flap die down, and it will be buried under the cushion again.

I agree. This is probably just an attempt to draw attention away from the horrible things in the DHS funding bill.

Actually, it was reported on Fox News today that Rand Paul said he didn't have time to read the whole bill, so he was just going to vote no.
