‘Extremely Bad Idea:’ WH Plan Expands U.S. Citizenship for Illegal Aliens to Potentially Uncontrollable Levels

    January 25, 2018

    John Binder

Details of a White House plan revealed on Thursday expands the number of illegal aliens who would be eligible for a pathway to U.S. citizenship far beyond the nearly 800,000 illegal aliens enrolled in the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

According to senior adviser Stephen Miller, the White House will push for a deal on immigration that gives a pathway to U.S. citizenship for 1.8 million illegal aliens who are enrolled and eligible for Obama’s DACA program.

Previously, the White House had endorsed a plan that would only give legal status to the nearly 800,000 illegal aliens who are currently enrolled in DACA. But the new plan revealed by Miller expands that measure to include more than one million additional illegal aliens who will not only receive immediate amnesty, but eventually a pathway to citizenship.

Kansas Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate Kris Kobach called the White House plan to push for U.S. citizenship for 1.8 million eligible illegal aliens an “extremely bad idea.”

“Expanding the pool of amnesty recipients to aliens beyond those who have already obtained DACA is an extremely bad idea,” Kobach told Breitbart News.

Kobach explained two different reasons to Breitbart News why giving a pathway to citizenship to illegal aliens beyond those who are enrolled in DACA is uncontrollable.

First, Kobach says there is “high probability” that there will be massive fraud in terms of non-eligible illegal aliens fraudulently filing false applications to receive the amnesty.

For example, following the 1986 amnesty, it is estimated that of 2.7 million illegal aliens who got amnesty, at least 700,000 of those amnesty recipients fraudulently got legal status.

Secondly, Kobach says a future White House administration can simply “wave or override” the requirements that allege to keep the Trump administration’s amnesty plan contained to the 1.8 million eligible illegal aliens. A maneuver whereby the amnesty requirements are waved could lead to an amnesty for the majority of the 12 to 30 million illegal aliens currently in the country.

The expansive amnesty plan with potentially uncontrollable limits to which illegal aliens can receive the amnesty is expected to be fully released in detail next week and sent to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for consideration.

Not to sound judgemental, but it looks like the one in the blue shirt, holding the baby, has been living high off the hog here in the states. No wonder why these people refuse to leave. We've been too good to them. It's time that stops.

Trump says DACA recipients should be able to stay in the US

    January 25, 2018

    Joe Kernen, CNBC

President Donald Trump told CNBC on Thursday that undocumented young people in the United States should be able to stay in the country.

"These are good people. These are good people that should be able to stay in this country," he said in an exclusive interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

In a snippet aired on NBC's "Nightly News," Trump said that he would consider it a "great achievement" to find a solution for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals — a program that his administration ended in September. DACA protects about 700,000 undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children.

Later Thursday, a Republican source told CNBC that the White House is expected to support a path to citizenship for 1.8 million young undocumented immigrants who were either shielded by DACA, or eligible for the Obama-era program.

Programming note: CNBC's full interview of President Trump will air on "Squawk Box" at 6 a.m. ET Friday

Been trying to call the White House comment line but it is always busy so I suspect a lot of people are upset. Schumer is showing that he is trickier than Trump---not surprising since the Democrats are lawyers and they have also bluffed out the GOP a number of times before on shutdowns.

There is already funding for a border wall from 2006 so this should not even be on the agenda. Trump is getting bluffed into thinking he either reneges on his promise (Wall) or Schumer gets his way. It should be Everify in there (for the workers) and end chain migration as the most critical things.

Extremely disappointed in Stephen Miller since he seems to have had a hand in this very bad Trump amnesty plan. This is something I would have expected from Trump and General Kelly, but it's not something I expected from Stephen Miller! Miller is pushing this program, which means he obviously supports it.
