Bush Approval Hits Lowest Point in U.S.
President Bush, illegal immigration, laws, crimes, Congress, Senate, CAFTA, guest worker, amnesty
(Angus Reid Global Scan) – Fewer Americans are openly supporting George W. Bush, according to a poll by Gallup released by CNN and USA Today. 44 per cent of respondents approve of the president’s performance, a five per cent drop in less than a week.
The current approval rating is the lowest for the sitting president in a national Gallup poll. Bush had his best showing in a survey conducted in late September 2001, where 90 per cent of respondents were satisfied with his performance.

Wonder why this comes as no surprise??? WHAT will it TAKE to wake those idiots up? They just keep plodding along as if nothing is happening that should cause such distrust among the American people. I wonder if he's still saying, "If you're not with us, you are against us" or, "If you're not with us, You are the enemy"???? Seems as if he has more enemies now than friends. That SHOULD be a red flag to him but, believe me, it won't be. They are just OBLIVIOUS.

44 sounds a bit high to me. I highly doubt that 44 percent of us are satisfied with Mr. Bush.

Well--we know who they DIDN'T include in their poll!!! I wish they would come to ALIPAC and see if they could get ONE percent who were satisfied with his job performance. But, don't forget--there ARE those who would NOT admit that he had let them down. I have a friend like that. I KNOW she isn't happy with him but she would choke before she admitted it to me because she is now seeing how right I was last year and how wrong she was. So, if they called her, she would probably say she was satisfied. There are those dyed-in-the-wools.

I think this is a misprint. I believe his approval rating is 4%, not 44%.

YES! YES! YES! YES!
This is exactly what I was waiting to see!
We felt a loss on CAFTA would help cascade the Bush approval ratings downward which is what we need. We need Bush as a lame duck so he can't get his agenda of opening the borders legitimized by the Congress!
Ive had my fingers crossed awaiting this report. Bush put himself out in the open supporting CAFTA and I think the Dobbs poll gave us a glimpse of public sentiment on that.
This is exactly what we needed. Everyone prepare yourself. I hope some of you will not mind if I borrow a Clinton campaign line from 92 and modify it.
Im starting work right now on a piece called "It's illegal immigration STUPID!" and we are going to slam the hell out of Bush on Sunday and Monday.
We have to push him back before he can fully deploy this public relations campaign aimed at further deceiving the public and destroying our movement.
YES! It appears his slimey victory on CAFTA will come at a greater cost than he counted on.

Truly I don't agree with a 44% approval rating. I have no idea who they might be asking other than his relatives. I know of no one...absolutely no one...who approves of Bush and his shenanigans.
True CAFTA will kill him politically...they've said so openly..that he spent much political capital to get that passed...and he will soon start to feel the pain of it.

You have to wonder how they pose the questions in these polls anyway. But, as I said earlier, I do have one friend who won't ADMIT that she doesn't agree with Bush anymore. She thinks he is doing a wonderful job. It has gotten SO BAD that we just cannot even discuss politics anymore because I get SO MAD that I am SCREAMING!! So, I'm afraid to even ask her now if she approves of the job he's doing. She wouldn't admit it to me if she didn't because then I could say, "I told you so"!!!
I HOPE that the CAFTA deal will hurt him as much as it has hurt us. I want him to PAY and PAY DEARLY for screwing us once again. But, I swear---some people are SO STUPID that they REALLY BELIEVE that it is a good thing. And, some people just can't EVER be convinced."POWER TENDS TO CORRUPT AND ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY." Sir John Dalberg-Acton
