A woman pushing a baby in a stroller has been arrested at the Calexico border crossing into the United States for allegedly also transporting 10 pounds of marijuana concealed beneath the infant, according to federal Customs and Border Protection officials.

The woman, a 27-year-old U.S. citizen from Seeley, Calif., was arrested Tuesday and charged with drug smuggling.

Her name was not released. The baby’s relatives took custody of the child.

The woman’s arrest was one of four seizures at the border crossing since Tuesday that netted 361 pounds of cocaine and marijuana, with a street value of $1.7 million, officials said.
