    CA - Eighteen immigrants illegally in country sentenced

    CALEXICO/EL CENTRO/INDIO — Eighteen people who illegally entered the country and were arrested by Border Patrol have been convicted and sentenced.

    All of the people had prior convictions for other crimes and were all apprehended near Calexico, El Centro or Indio, according to a press release. All of them were sentenced to federal prison.

    18 illegal immigrants
    Danny Martinez-Ramirez – sentenced to one year
    Ismael Vargas-Leon – sentenced to 37 months
    Benito Tenorio-Torres – sentenced to 21 months
    Javier Tellez-Ayala – sentenced to 52 months
    Carlos Bracero-Lemus – sentenced to 21 months
    Mario Sevilla-Galena – sentenced to 46 months
    Juan Cruz Hernandez-Mercado – sentenced to 21 months
    Jose Ramorez-Hernandez – sentenced to 30 months
    Luciano Losano-Sanchez – sentenced to 18 months
    Salvador Romo-Castillo – sentenced to 15 months
    Cesar Alberto Olivarria – sentenced to 24 months
    Marco Antonio Olayo-Xochitl – sentenced to 18 months
    Osvaldo Ramirez-Barraza – sentenced to 15 months
    Alejandro Avato-Emmanuel – sentenced to 18 months
    Jose Soto-Gutierrez – sentenced to 30 months
    Luis Fernando Flores – sentenced to 24 months
    Cesar Montoya-Sosa – sentenced to 41 months
    Benjamin Noriega-Castaneda - sentenced to 24 months
