Gallegly concerned Democrats might force immigration reform bill

WASHINGTON — With the fight over illegal immigration heating up, Rep. Elton Gallegly said Friday he fears Democrats will try to shove an immigration reform bill through a lame-duck Congress shortly after the election this fall.
Republicans appear poised to make significant gains in the Nov. 2 elections and could possibly take back the majority in the House or the Senate. But even if they do, the new Congress would not be sworn into office until early January. That would give Democrats an eight-week window to pursue their agenda before they have to cede power to the GOP.

It
It MUST be Stopped, No Matter the cost. We can not let them do this. Even if it takes a distraction in Washington DC from something else.

Yes
The lame duck session will be a very dangerous time , If we can hold them off through that , then CIR might be dead for all time,
I think we also better get our ducks in a row for the next election in 2012 , We have to unite around ONE candidate who supports our beliefs
We cannot let them fracture us like they did last time , We simply cannot allow that to happen again or we will lose again.
