Illegal alien charged with molesting girl over last 8 years

Adelanto, CA – On Wednesday, Rene Viramontes, 41, was arrested for allegedly molesting a family member over the last eight years, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office.

The arrest came after the 14-year-old victim’s mother went to the sheriff’s office and reported that her daughter was being sexually abused.

During the course of the investigation, deputies reportedly discovered that Viramontes had been abusing the girl since she was only 6-years-old.

Viramonteshas been charged with the continuous sexual abuse of a child. He is being held at the West Valley Detention Center on an immigration detainer.
