President-elect Felipe Calderón on Monday slammed U.S. plans to build more fences on its southern border, saying it would not solve illegal immigration.
"We are worried ... about the actions that the United States is discussing concerning building a border wall and tightening restrictions on migrants," Calderón said after meeting with the foreign relations secretary.

The U.S. Senate is debating legislation to build 1,100 kilometers (700 miles) of fence on the U.S.-Mexico border along with other security measures, which the House has already passed.

If it is not going to stop the flow of their citizens into our country why would it matter to them. If a fence does not work, like they keep saying, why are they getting so upset over it?

Also we are not talking about tightening restrictions on ILLEGAL (he forgot that word) migrants. We are insisting that our government enforce the immigration laws we already have which obviously they have been neglecting for far too long.

In their minds America is their country and we and our stupid laws are merely in the way of the criminal progress and activity. Each time they protest we should add an inch in thickness and height to that wall
