SACRAMENTO – By a 44-26 vote, the California Assembly today approved the California DREAM Act, authored by Assembly Speaker Emeritus Fabian Núñez’s (D-Los Angeles).

“All qualified students in California deserve the opportunity to attend an institution of higher learning, and the California DREAM Act brings us one step closer to that goal,â€

Let's start making some calls now. NO to the misnamed "Dream Act."

There are MOMS sleeping in cars with their pets, while their KIDS move in with friends, because they lost jobs/apartments! These are American CITIZENS!! CA. wants to cut MILLIONS from schools and this MORON wants to give financial aid so iLLEGAL aliens can attend CA colleges?!?!?!

My sentiments exactly..... Airborn, there is always something stinky going on in California. More insanity from our talking heads. This is a never ending battle and I want to do what ever it takes to stop this....!

Doesn't it appear the California government at all levels is in a vocal and legislative rebellion of aiding and abetting illegal aliens?

No suspect can 'technically' have a fair trial and no court of law can dispense true justice without knowing the citizenship/immigration status of the accused.

DID NUNEZ CONSIDER WHAT THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS THINK OF THIS DEAL? THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!

Again, Hispanics are looking after the interests of their own, and not the interests of all of "the people".

THIS MUST BE STOPPED!

This is absolutely insane in any state, let alone one that can barely afford the basics for it's legal citizens! Oh, and this really sticks in my craw as well:

All undocumented students must file an affidavit stating that they will file an application to legalize their immigration status or will file such an application as soon as they are eligible.
