One of Mexico's most wanted is arrested here in the valley. Action 4 News reporter Victor Castillo joins us to tell us how the notorious 'zetas' gang member was arrested and turned over to Mexican authorities.

The Rio Grande Valley is not only a preferred route for drug trafficking, it's been also a place where high profile Mexican fugitives hide. You're looking at the actual video when US authorities deported a former Mexican soldier and a known member of Los 'zetas' back to Mexico.

Raul Hernandez-Baron known as 'Flander' was arrested a couple of days ago in Starr county by a combined task force made of state and federal agencies, during a narcotics investigation.

One of the most wanted by the Mexican attorney general's office, was handed over to Mexican authorities at the Reynosa International bridge this Thursday around three o'clock in the afternoon, then flown over to Mexico's city to face weapons charges.

Raul Hernandez-Baron deserted the Mexican army and became a member of the 'zetas'. Los Zetas is a criminal organization based in Mexico's closely associated with the drug cartel. It is composed of former military officers, ex-army special forces, who carry out killings for the gulf cartel.

It is believed, they are taking over many states in Mexico.
