Canada: ‘A Launching Point for Illegal Entry Into U.S.A.’

    by LANA SHADWICK
    2 Jul 2016

On December 1 of this year, the Canadian government will lift the visa requirement for Mexican visitors. Immigration experts are concerned that “Canada will now become even more of a launching point for illegal entry into the United States.”

Immigration watchers are concerned that illegal aliens will use the opportunity to come across the “largely unguarded” Canadian-United States border.

The Director of Policy Studies at the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), Jessica Vaughan, told Breitbart Texas, “This could be enticing because some parts of our southern border have been hardened and are now very difficult to cross without being detected.”

Vaughan said that our border agency should be very concerned that Mexicans will be able to travel to Canada without a visa. She noted that this raises the possibility that Mexican nationals, and “especially those Mexicans who have been deported already from the United States, or anyone who fraudulently obtains a Mexican passport, might seek to enter the United States illegally from Canada across our largely unguarded northern border.”

The immigration policy expert told Breitbart Texas that she has been told by some Canadians that Canada makes it more difficult for illegal residents to access their extensive social welfare programs. She contrasted it to the United States where access to welfare programs are now plentiful. “Of course, there are many more Mexicans who have family ties in the United States than Canada,” she added.

Vaughan noted, “It will be interesting to see if Canada develops an overstay problem with Mexicans, or if there develops a new stream of entry to the U.S. across the northern border. This could mean that we will need to bolster our border security efforts on the northern border as well as the southern border.”

She says one thing is certain, “Given the severe problem we now have with illegal immigration from Mexico, the United States should immediately inform Canada that if Mexicans are caught crossing illegally into our country from Canada, then they will be deported right back to Canada, so we do not have to transport them all the way back to Mexico.”

The Prime Minister of Canada touts the “benefits” that this will bring to Canada and Mexico. “Canada is pleased to deliver on the government’s commitment to lift the visa requirement for Mexican nationals. We look forward to the social and economic benefits that lifting the visa requirement will bring to both countries, especially to the middle class here in Canada,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said.

After he was elected in October, Breitbart News reported that “the uber-leftist Trudeau” said that Canadian terrorists should never be stripped of their citizenship. He also told the biggest Islamic conference in Canada that he would repeal C-24. The article noted that Trudeau met with members of a radical mosque labeled by U.S. intelligence as an al Qaeda recruitment center, but that Trudeau claimed he had no knowledge of that fact. The CBC had done a full expose of the mosque in 2006.

In short, Trudeau says he strongly believes in multiculturalism, and his liberal agenda and ideas are discussed in detail in the article. Trudeau trivialized the Holocaust in 2015 by comparing the horror suffered there “to government actors not supporting the wearing of the Islamic niqab by women.” “We should all shudder to hear the same rhetoric that led to a ‘none is too many’ immigration policy toward Jews in the ‘30s and ‘40s being used to raise fears against Muslims today,” he said.

We need a border wall at Canadian border - there are checkpoints now and one is supposed to enter USA legally at one of those points but in this day & age? - don't count on it. Canada has open arms to all the world & right next door to us - plenty of unguarded areas..

We need a wall (Walls, really. We are not really talking about one monolithic wall on either border.) and we need enforcement on the interior.

And we need to remember that many Canadian illegals are of French or English ancestry and not easily identified as Spanish or Chinese language speakers.

Not only on land crossings, but numerous lake and river areas. They will be coming in droves. If I were President, I would take Canada out of our nuclear shield for this.
