Thread: Surrounded by immigrants in Hyattsville MD, State law protects them over us.

Need help in Maryland to fight against immigrants to get rid of them or even send them back to where they come from.
This has been going for months now, we have reported it to police few times, but all in vain.
We don't even know whether they are legal or illegal immigrants staying
here. Since the time these people have started staying here in neighborhood there are lot of drug activities happening and peddlers roaming. Things have become scary, we don't let our children or grandchildren go out in evenings, during night they make a lot of noise. They stay in large numbers here in rented apartments. Due to bad economy and cheap labor our people are left with no choice but to sell their houses and go. Maryland state law helps these people
at the cost of our peace.
Anonymously we had reported it to ICE as we didn't wanted to risk wellbeing of our families.
We could not take it anymore, we decided to organize and work together against them for a better future of our children.
We have managed to get evidence and details of these people.

Welcome to ALIPAC, matthewdugg. I'm so sorry about the problems your community in Maryland is facing due to immigration. Since it sounds drug-related, it is more than likely mostly illegal immigration.

But can't sit quiet anymore it needs to reach the FEDS or ICE, as the county and police protects Immigrants on human grounds over our peace forgetting all the sacrifices our forefathers have done to make our nation great which welcomes everyone with a big heart and in return we get is sh#t.

Our focus at ALIPAC is on illegal immigrants and illegal immigration. Many of our supporters are legal immigrants. That language you use in your first post is not what our organization is about. We are not anti-immigrant.

I respect and second that thought, to confirm even I am not anti-immigrant or rasict. But what these people are doing question whether they really are legal, be it legal or illegal all I am searching is for help to escalate the the matter in right way.

Report to the DEA - whether they are illegals or legal "refugee resettlement placed Unaccompanied Children from Central America", many have turned out to be older and involved with drug cartels. It is important that drug activity is reported to produce a record that will put them on the deportation list. You would have to look up your areas DEA # - ICE 1 866 347 2423 Don't be afraid to report to ICE or DEA (they do not reveal who reported) just do not let on to your neighbors what you are doing.

Your city has political beings with jobs you are paying for, address them, ask to have the property owners fined or shut the places down. Rental property owners have rules and regulations they have to follow and if they don't the property is considered a nuisance and things can be done about it. All depends on what the civic set up is in your town.

You are lucky this is just now happening as other areas have been putting up with that behaviour w/o much recourse for a decade now. Cities are very slow or are sanctuary status but property owner violations have no bearing on legal/illegal. We had no ICE enforcement for a decade but do know for those with a criminal activity history. Get DE there.

Adding.... in dealing with your city agencies; L&I -license and inspection, rental owner permit division etc request anonymous on the report but follow up to you or ask for the report number to follow up on your own re the status. You don't want the owner to have access to who exactly reported the violations - sometimes requesting "neighbor" or "community" on the report is safer for you.

Artist, thank you for your input we had tried it but there was no response. We are planning to take it through social media, this is the only way it will get attention.
