LA VOZ DE AZTLAN: Buchanan says the USA is a carcass

    LA VOZ DE AZTLAN
    Los Angeles Alta California
    November 26, 2007

Buchanan says the USA is a carcass "decomposing"

Patrick Buchanan, a candidate for president in 1992, 1996 and 2000,
says in a new book titled "Day of Reckoning" that the USA is now like a
carcass that is rapidly decomposing. The rotting and imminent collapse
of the USA and of the West in general is a favorite topic of Buchanan.
In 2001 he wrote another book titled "The Death of the West" where he
goes into great detail explaining how "white" people are threaten with
    extinction.

Patrick Buchanan is an extreme xenophobe that believes that "white"
Europe and "white" America is being overrun by "savage" brown and black
hordes. He thinks that this spells the end of "white civilized society."
One of his favorite subtopics is "the great invasion of the Southwest by
Mexicans." No one has explained to him that we were here way before his
    ancestors came from Ireland.

In a strange sort of way Patrick Buchanan agrees with President Hugo
Chavez of Venezuela. Both believe that the USA is in imminent collapse.
Hugo Chavez calls the USA an "oil sucking Dracula" and both point to the
rapidly sinking "dollar" as an unequivocal sign that the "empire" is now
    breathing its very last gasps.

Oh, the old 'we were here first'. That is so old

Few places on the planet is still peopled by the original inhabitants. Most of them were displaced because someone either ran them off, or their rulers sold them out.

But Mexicans are a mixture of Spanish and Indians - so someone was here before they came - and so forth and so on.

I wonder how Ireland would feel if I just decided to go to Ireland, demand welfare, job, no taxes, etc. Maybe Germany - hmmmmmmmm?

Why don't we all just play Musical Countries -

What about all the amenities and infrastructure? That wasn't there back when they claim they were here, we paid (and are still paying) for that, and that is what draws them. The businesses with jobs, the schools, the hospitals, the roads, the relative peace and safety ...

Every single person on this earth in every single location on this earth is a descendant of immigrants who came from somewhere on this earth.

Exactly right Zeezil! I'm really tired of hearing this lame argument also. "We are a country of immigrants..." blah blah blah. Are they trying to convince us that we are the only nation to have immigrants? IDIOTS!

There isn't a country in the world that hasn't been affected by immigration in one form or another.

Some people really need to get a grip on themselves. This is 2007, almost 2008. We cannot change one iota of what transpired in the past, and it is absolutely futile to obsess on it. We are living today, and must deal with the problems we are encountering now.

Other people once owned and lived in my parent’s house. When my parents bought the house, it became theirs. Therefore, the former owners have no right to enter my parent’s house without their permission.

And we did acquire this territory by treaty, not mere occupation (like what's being tried now). Here in the Denver area there is a story of some people who lost land they'd paid for by 'adverse possession' - maybe we'd better take this as a warning. http://www.politicswest.com/local_weste ... _no_rarity

We won a war, we politically settled the conflict after winning by treaty AND even paid Messico several million dollars for the territory won in the war.

Get over it Reconquistas and Aztlan'ers. Mexico lost the war, they signed a treaty ceding the territory (which they had not settled nor owned for very long) AND GOT PAID HANDSOMELY FOR IT.

    So true.

Am sick of that old argument too.

May I add that Spanish is a EUROPEAN language spoken in Spain which is a country in EUROPE.
