Catholic Charities is looking for help in preparing for hundreds of asylum seekers that are expected to arrive in the Valley this week.
Sister Norma Pimentel says they have helped between 250 - 400 people a day in the past few months and that the numbers remain high.
Most of the people are from Honduras and El Salvaldor but they also have people coming from Nicaragua and Guatemala.
"Lately, I would say because of all these the big caravans that have been arriving mostly to the Tijuana area border. We also are getting, I'm sure, some of the families in this area as well. So many of the families are arriving. We're expecting higher numbers and that's what we hear from Border Patrol."
Pimentel says they are in need of basic hygiene needs like deodorant.
They are also looking for volunteers.
