Chicago bid for Rep. Gutierrez could be loss for immigration push

While Chicago supporters of Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) are pushing him to run for mayor, immigration advocates in Washington are less enthusiastic about seeing one of their leading champions leave the Capitol.

Now in his ninth term, Gutierrez is considering whether to join a wide-open field of contenders for Chicago’s top job after longtime Mayor Richard Daley announced this week he would not seek re-election.

A winning bid by Gutierrez would be an unmistakable loss for the immigration reform movement in Congress, where he has been the most forceful advocate and at times a singular voice for a cause whose political viability has teetered in recent years.

That would be so perfect for Chicago. Their last son of immigrants Governor on his way to prison, pending appeals, for appointing a black guy to replace Obama. Guiterrez losing on the only thing he worked on in Congress deciding to com home to Chicago and run for for Mayor. And the Obama-Chi-Town Gang slithering home in 2012.

"America's Voice" is all spoke in spanish. This guy is the Jack of all asses. He's gettin' paid from both sides of the fence. And believe me he's no thorn in the side of our beloved president, he's saying exactly what his boss tells him to say.Obama made all of us believe that everyone has to be documented. At least be man enough to stick to your guns. These illegals didn't vote you in to office "We the people" voted him in to office and he honestly believes the illegals will keep him in office. Redistribute the wealth, well there's plenty of Americans that fall under the "ain't got s--t category" and now have even less now that he's givin' our jobs to the mexicans. And I know it wasn't all him but more illegals have shown up since he's been promising amnesty for votes. Here in the holler, he could buy they're votes with Bud Light, Oh! that's right he already is.

Ya Chicago is already screwed up so it really doesn't matter if Luis is Mayor....better to destroy one city anyway to save the rest of the country...wishing you luck Luis hope you win and I never have to look at your traitor face again.

Yep. Yepper. Yeppest. And if any city can figure out how to take care of their own traitors, then it would most certainly and without contest be ... Chicago.
