The children need to be sent to their parents. They had them and they need to take care of them, not live off of the welfare system. When the kids are 18, they can petition for citizenship from their parent's home country. JMO

This looks like one of the things the government does when it doesn't want to enforce a law.

They will find some case that will get the media's attention, alert the media, and then 'enforce' the law.

Years ago, when welfare was not an accepted way of life, but was growing, people began to complain about the numbers living of the system. The government would find some woman who clearly needed the benefits, but perhaps has not filled out the papers properly or some small infraction and remove her.

Of course, they would call the media so it could be reported - over and over again.

There is no reason to remove these children from their parents. They can be sent back with their parents. Perhaps they could have dual citizenship until they are 18, then they choose - but not allowed to bring the family should they choose this country. Maybe we could have the anchor baby law straightened out by then.

They bring their own children into this country.

If they are, in fact, forcing the parents to leave the children, then they are definitely doing it just to gain sympathy and keep our laws from being enforced.

If Texas can't enforce immigration laws, how can they force parents to leave their children??? Doesn't pass the smell test. Seems like Texas may be in bed with Washington - but then, of course it is - has been for 40 years.

Somehow the story of forcing them to leave their children smells to me.

There are precedents to sending American born children back to their parents country.

Just wait, next they will be grabbing people off life support to deport them.

All minor children of illegal aliens regardless of where they were born must accompany their deported parents home to the country of their parents citizenship. A minor child remaining in the US even if a US citizen is not an option. These children belong to and with the parents, not the United States, they are also citizens or eligible for citizenship of the country where their parents are citizens.

Texas foster care system was exercising grand stupidity accepting these children. What a bunch of idiots. Come on Texas, you're smarter than that!!
