Coast Guard stops 90 migrants in 24 hours

Coast Guard Cutter crews in the Florida Straits have been extremely busy as the Sector Key West commanding officer reported more than 90 migrants were stopped in a 24-hour period Thursday into Friday.

“We’ve interdicted 92 in the last 24 hours,” Capt. Jeffrey Janszen said Friday afternoon.
