    Colorado Farm Labor Shortage?

Labor shortage grows desperate for area farmers; Relief sought in state measure, but say U.S. reform needed
    Chris Casey

Fields aren’t yet furrowed, but many of the region’s farmers already cringe at the thought of where they’ll find enough workers for the summer harvest.

A bill in the Colorado General Assembly proposes to streamline the H-2A agricultural visa program, which allows farmers to hire workers from other countries legally. While farmers generally support the bill — calling the current process time-consuming and costly — they say it’s not an adequate long-term solution
In other words, prior to the current process, they were most likely hiring illegal invaders to tend their fields.

I'm sick and tired of the agriculturial industry attempting to make allowances for some 20-30 million illegal invaders in this country under the pretence of picking their lettuce and tomatoes.

    The answer is mechanization!
