I personally think Jeff Sessions is doing a great job for us right where he is. Being shuffled to the DHS job would be a demotion and serious slap in the face. Sessions is a former lawyer and judge and is well qualified for the post he currently holds.
No one is saying Sessions isn't qualified. But he's never been a Judge to my knowledge, he was nominated for a federal judge position in 1986, but was never confirmed. There's no doubt Sessions is qualified.

Nominating Scaramucci was just an idea to appoint someone who isn't afraid to stand up to the Scum Bag Swamp Rats in the DOJ and yes, that includes the FBI, to clean 'em out and prosecute the leakers. Scaramuucci graduated from Harvard Law School.

Personally I'd rather see Scaramucci stay in the White House, it was just an idea in case Sessions is moved to Secretary of DHS. To me that is not a demotion, but a promotion for Sessions. DHS is far more important than the DOJ.

Okay, you're right, Sessions was not a judge, however, he was the Attorney General of Alabama before being elected to the U.S. Senate.

Of course Secretary of DHS is a very important position to us but in cabinet hierarchy, AG is rated higher than Secretary of DHS. In the presidential order of succession, Attorney General is ranked 7th and Secretary of DHS is ranked 17th.

During a crisis, you'll be taking orders from DHS, not the AG. And Trump isn't going anywhere, so the hierarchy isn't too important. For Trump Supporters, the Secretary of DHS is the second most important job in DC, right after the President.

There's other people capable of running DHS just as there are other people capable of running the DOJ. We don't even know if this rumor or theory about moving Sessions to DHS is real or not, but I have to say when I hear Lindsey Graham is against it, then I'm all in for it, if it is.

Regardless of what you or I think, moving from Attorney General of the United States to Secretary of DHS is a huge political downgrade and would be an embarrassment that Jeff Sessions doesn't need or deserve.
