Boos, hisses greet defense of immigration reform bill

Delegates to the state Republican convention unleashed a rare chorus of boos and hisses at U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss on Saturday, as he spoke up for a bipartisan immigration reform package unveiled in Washington this week.

Chambliss had just finished emphasizing his devotion to border security provisions contained in the measure, and brought up agriculture’s need for temporary, foreign workers.

“We’ve got to face the fact that we’ve got to create a new, truly temporary worker programâ€

Thanks for posting CCUSA. I really enjoyed listening to the boos and hisses. It is so refreshing after hearing the bullsh*t the liberals have been spewing all week.

They illustrate thier incredible arrogance, ignorance and apathy to the American way of life and our furture. Pathetic excuse for "leaders".

Let me see if I got this straight. Chambliss and Isakson are willing to put their stamp of approval (sell their souls) on this compromise bill simply because it contains a guest-worker program? Haven't they read the bill, it contains a lot more than a guest-worker program. This bill would give amnesty to somehwere between 12 and 25 million illegal immigrants and in-state college tuition to illegals among many other BAD IDEAS! We don't need any damn comprehensive immigration reform, what we need is enhanced border security and the active interior enforcement of our laws as written!

From 100 phone calls we made to the SEATED TRAITORS yesterday, asking for cloture decisions, we found some extremely interesting information!

MOST OF THEM have NOT received the LEGISLATION TEXT
Rather, they're supposed to VOTE via a few page SUMMARY of a 1000 PAGE American Sell-Out Sham!!

Being careful not to be anywhere near those types of people that you mentioned is paramount. Other than that, sounds like a WINNER
