    Ebola Patient Flight Path

    Published on Oct 2, 2014
Thomas Eric Duncan. He’s the man being treated for Ebola at a hospital in Dallas. He flew on United Airlines, with a layover in Washington DC. Duncan flew part of his trip on United. The airline says they’ve been informed the CDC about his flight path. He apparently flew on September 20th on United Flight 951 from Brussels to Washington Dulles, and then from Washington Dulles to Dallas, flight 822. The CDC says there is NO risk to fellow passengers, because Duncan showed no symptoms at that time. Passengers are NOT being individually notified. But by now, many of them probably know.

Thomas Duncan is a Liberian national who likely contracted Ebola while caring for an infected, pregnant woman. The New York Times reports Duncan helped carry the woman as she sought help. She died shortly afterwards. Five days after contact with the ill woman, Duncan arrived in Dallas to visit relatives. Six days later, he went to a hospital complaining of symptoms. Just before boarding an ambulance to head back to the hospital, he was seen vomiting outside an apartment before returning to that hospital. Paramedics confirmed Duncan was vomiting INSIDE the ambulance. When they dropped him off, no one from the hospital informed the EMTs that their ambulance was just exposed to a deadly virus. They went on to drive around for several hours before learning the Ebola patient was in close contact with them.

Now, all four paramedics are some of the Dallas area residents under a quarantine. Duncan’s family is also under quarantine. We’re also hearing unconfirmed reports from INSIDE the hospital that Duncan vomited all over the emergency room. Many sick patients, with already compromised immune systems, may be in grave danger of contracting a deadly disease.

Another vehicle transported Duncan some time ago too, and it was in circulation for days after he was on board. The United Airlines Boeing 777 plane was NOT scrubbed clean as of October 2nd, twelve days after hosting a sick Ebola patient. Since then, that plane has been to Chicago, Portland, Denver, back to Portland, Newark, Phoenix, San Francisco, Los Angeles, LaGuardia in New York, Seattle, Houston, Orlando and several cities in between.

The CDC has already started monitoring at least 100 people who came in contact with Duncan. If they backtrack two weeks, they could soon be reaching out to anyone who traveled on that airplane.

Health news takes center stage. Concerns over Ebola are on the rise, but here in Massachusetts, it’s another sickness causing parents to worry. With the details around New England, and all of your local news in Boston, I’m Mark Maxwell. Doctors in Rhode Island say a rare combination of enterovirus and staph infection are what led to the death of a ten year old girl. The family is mourning the loss of young Emily Ortrando after she died in a Providence Hospital. Doctors believe it was the addition of the staph infection that led to Emily’s death. The CDC says nearly 500 people in 41 different states have come down with Enterovirus. But out of 4 deaths, the CDC says all of those were exacerbated by additional complications. If the virus isn’t treated quickly, doctors say it can even lead to paralysis.

Obama, Johnson, Kerry Others Allowed Ebola Into U.S. – Could Have Denied Entry To Infected Alien

Posted on 2 October, 2014 by Rick Wells

The White House occupant himself could have acted to prevent the Ebola case in Dallas. So could HHS Secretary Burwell, DHS Director Johnson or Secretary of State Kerry. That is the determination of Jessica Vaughn, the Director of Policy Studies at the Center for Immigration Studies.

Vaughan said in an interview with Breitbart News that there wouldn’t have been a need for any funny business with a pen or a phone or trumped-up claims of authority. The necessary authority is contained in existing United States immigration law. The actions of the regime indicate an ignorance of immigration law, or a failure to recognize it validity, so their oversight might be in some ways understandable.

Vaughan says that the Immigration and Nationality Act grants broad authority to bar non-citizens, such as Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan from entering the country. There’s that tricky lingo again. Obamabots always confuse that word “citizen,” with “resident.”

The mechanisms for protecting the population are already in place and working in regard to other diseases. She said, “They have broad authority to bar any non-citizen from entering the country, but the INA does have a provision on the books already that bars people who have communicable diseases of public health significance. It gives the authority to HHS to create that list. The language says it’s only people who have them who are barred.”

“So what you have to do is set up a system of screening to make sure people you’re allowing to travel into the country are clear,” she explained. “We’ve done that with some of these other diseases in the past-and the way they do that is every visa issuing post has local doctors that they work with who will screen people who get immigrant visas to make sure they don’t have tuberculosis or leprosy or other diseases. You could similarly require that people who want to travel here on visitor’s visas go through a medical screening and put the burden of proof on the traveler to show they are not infected and are not carrying the disease.”

While the federal government has put Ebola on the list of “banned diseases” and sent 3,000 troops to build medical facilities in Africa, we haven’t taken the proper preventative measures here in the homeland. It’s not unlike guarding the Korean DMZ while our border remains wide open to an ongoing invasion.

Vaughn says “It’s all under the executive branch’s authority how to manage that. They should be working with public health experts on how to detect the disease and for what period of time people should be cleared for. But my understanding from listening to the reports about this case in Dallas is that it’s the airline that’s having people fill out reports and taking their temperature. From what I’ve read that’s not enough.”

Vaughan said the Obama administration has done “nothing” to screen for Ebola, adding, “It seems to have been outsourced to the airlines.

“But one thing they did announce was they were suspending deportations to Liberia in order to protect the criminal aliens who are living here from having to go back to their own country and catch this disease,” Vaughn said. “We keep hearing from the CDC that there’s almost no way to catch it, and yet we’re protecting people from deportation? We don’t protect people from deportation to countries that have high rates of HIV or Tuberculosis? This is supposedly harder to catch than that, Tuberculosis.”

Vaughn summarized the regime’s “efforts” saying, “So we’ve taken steps to protect illegal aliens from catching this in their home country but there hasn’t been anything done to protect Americans because there already are about 200,000 people who have been issued visas to travel here,” Vaughan stated. “Even if you stopped issuing visas today, there are already 200,000 people who have been issued visas to come here.”

Vaughan said if the administration actually had a plan earlier, the case in Dallas would likely not exist. Timely, effective planning is not a regime strong suit, regardless of the nature of the problem.

Tragic Story of Ebola Patient Zero Thomas Duncan’s Final Hours at Dallas Home Just Released

    By Eric Odom

Thomas Duncan’s home country may be pressing charges against him for lying in order to get on a flight. And our report suggesting he may have intentionally brought Ebola to the states with the hopes of getting medical care may very well turn out to be 100% accurate.

But none of that changes the fact that what Duncan went through (and is likely still going through) is simply beyond the imagination of anyone who hasn’t experienced it. Ebola, in its late stages, can have terrifying and horribly painful outcomes for its victim. Unfortunately, it sounds like Duncan may have gotten the worst of it.

Washington Post got an exclusive interview with Duncan’s female friend, the woman he was staying with while in Dallas, and she spelled out in great detail the final days before Duncan vanished into the belly of a Dallas hospital. As she notes in the interview, Duncan was taken to the hospital on Sunday and none of the family members or friends have seen or heard from him since.

Here’s a snippet of the WaPo piece
    .

Thomas Duncan shivered in the king-sized bed, even though he was tucked under the covers and fully dressed — pants, socks and two shirts. It was Sunday morning, Sept. 28, and Duncan, from Liberia, had been in the United States visiting Louise Troh at her Dallas apartment for the past week. He felt weak and cold, he told Troh’s daughter, Youngor Jallah.

So Jallah took a quick trip to Wal-Mart and bought a $50 brown cotton blanket. When she returned, she draped it over Duncan’s shoulders and then gently lifted him by his back to try to get him to drink some hot tea. That’s when she looked into his eyes and knew in her heart that things were very bad.

“I’ve been seeing Ebola on TV, how it starts, with muscle pain, red eyes. When I see his eye it is all red, and I think maybe this time it is Ebola virus and I should be careful,” Jallah, 35, said in an interview with The Washington Post at her nearby apartment, where she and her family have been quarantined.

She took his temperature — 102 degrees.

“I’m going to call an ambulance,” she said.

Further down the story we see a very disconcerting block of information.

No one in the family has seen Duncan since he left the apartment Sunday morning in an ambulance.
Also living in Troh’s apartment at the time were her son Timothy Wayne, 13, and two men in their 20s, a relative named Oliver Smallwood and a friend named Jeffrey Cole. The four are now quarantined in the apartment.

The night before Duncan was taken to the hospital, Jallah and her partner, Aaron Yah, had left their daughter and three sons, ages 2 to 11, with Troh for the night. The children usually spent part of each evening with their grandmother because Jallah’s job as an overnight nursing assistant overlaps with Yah’s as a health aide. That Saturday night, the four kids slept overnight on their grandmother’s *couches.

On her way to the Ivy Apartments on Sunday morning, Jallah had called Yah to tell him that Duncan was ill and that he should come right away to take the children home.

Health officials say there are no symptoms just yet, but keep in mind it took some ten full days before Duncan himself became ill. Meaning, if there are going to be symptoms we may not know until next Tuesday or Wednesday.

In any event, it’s hard to imagine what this family is going through. I hope and pray it never happens to mine.

UPDATES: Officials Say Ebola-Infected Man Lied on Questionnaire Before Flying to U.S.

    by Fox News Insider // Oct 02 2014 // 10:52am
    As seen on America's Newsroom

New details are emerging today on the first case of Ebola reported in the United States. The patient, identified as Thomas Eric Duncan, is reported to be in serious but stable condition.

UPDATE, 3p ET: Dallas health officials held a news conference with the latest information on the Ebola case.

UPDATE, 2p ET: In his latest report on "The Real Story," John Roberts said Duncan lied on a questionnaire when he left Liberia. He answered "no" to a question on whether he'd been in contact with anyone who had the Ebola virus.
It turns out Duncan helped carry a woman who was too weak to walk because of the virus. Liberian officials intend to prosecute Duncan if he ever returns to the country, Roberts reported.
Up to 100 people are now believed to have been exposed.

John Roberts reported this morning that officials wanted to make sure Duncan's family "stayed put" until Oct. 19. He said county officials encouraged the family to stay home, but weren't sure the family would comply.

"So they put it down on paper. That has the force of law so if they were to go out and try to mingle in the public they could potentially be arrested," Roberts reported.

According to reports, 80 people may have been exposed to the virus, including five children who were in close contact with Duncan as he became sicker.

Parents in the Dallas area are nervous amid reports that those kids then went to school.
Gov. Rick Perry said the children are being monitored and maintained that the virus cannot be transmitted until after symptoms appear.

Details of the man's 28-hour trip from western Africa emerged Wednesday. He flew on two airlines, took three flights, and had lengthy airport layovers before reaching Texas on Sept. 20.

Still, federal officials say other passengers on the flights are at no risk of infection because the man had no symptoms at the time of his trip.

Duncan left Monrovia, Liberia, on Sept. 19 aboard a Brussels Airlines jet to the Belgian capital, according to a Belgian official.

After layover of nearly seven hours, he boarded United Airlines Flight 951 to Dulles International Airport near Washington, D.C.

After another layover of nearly three hours, he then flew Flight 822 from Dulles to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, the airline confirmed.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Duncan sought medical care Sept. 25 in Dallas after falling ill the day before.

The hospital is now being called into question because they let Duncan leave after he went to the ER and told them he had just come back from Liberia.

Roberts reported that the hospital had just gone over their Ebola procedures with staff. A hospital official, however, said the information about Duncan's travels was not communicated to the "whole team."

The Ebola In America Threat Widens: Patient With Ebola-Like Symptoms Quarantined In D.C. Hospital –Recently Traveled To Nigeria

    By Velvet Hammer
    2:22 pm October 3, 2014

YET Obama REFUSES to ban flights from Ebola stricken countries.
    Madness!
    Via NBC Washington:
A patient with Ebola-like symptoms is being treated at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., a hospital spokesperson confirmed late Friday morning.
The patient had traveled to Nigeria recently.
That person has been admitted to the hospital in stable condition, and is being isolated and tested. The medical team is working with the CDC to determine whether the patient has Ebola.
“In an abundance of caution, we have activated the appropriate infection control protocols, including isolating the patient,” said hospital spokesperson Kerry-Ann Hamilton in a statement. “Our medical team continues to evaluate and monitor progress in close collaboration with the CDC and the Department of Health.”
Hamilton did not share further details about the patient, citing privacy reasons, but said the hospital will provide updates as warranted.
My friend Zilla speaking truth to power:
I think it’s deliberate, but what those dicks fail to realize is that infectious disease does not GAF about a person’s wealth or political connections. The people who are creating a deadly pandemic will not be immune to it, sure they have the means to get medical care that us plebes can only dream of, and they can try to isolate themselves in their (largely taxpayer funded) mansions, but they still go out to push their agitprop and are just as likely as anyone else to run into someone who has been exposed & can be a carrier, and also, their servants tend to live among the rest of us poor schmucks and may shop where we shop or have kids in schools with our kids who have been do recklessly exposed to all manner of disease both from the gov’t’s deliberate failure to contain Ebola and from infected contagious foreign invaders who our public schools have been forced to accommodate. Six degrees of Kevin Bacon meet six degrees of infectious contagion. Nobody is safe, not even our leftist overlords who are doing their damnedest to bring about the zombie Apocalypse. That they will also sicken and die with the rest of us is our only consolation.
Back in August, UK and France restricted flights from West Africa.
Grassfire.com is running a major petition demanding all flights from West Africa be blocked now. SIGN THE PETITION HERE.
