Dem Sen Brown: Government Has ‘No Business’ Deporting Immigrants Who Have Been in U.S. for Years

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) said the government had “no business” deporting immigrants who have been living and working in the United States for years.

Brown said, “It’s terrible when we are taking immigrants who have been here 10 or 15 years and working hard, paying their taxes, active in their church, active in communities, parents and we throw them out of this country.”

He continued, “We have no business doing that. That inhumane policy coming from the administration is just part and parcel of what he’s been for the last seven months.”

Gee, wonder if he means illegal immigrants or legal immigrants? Duh...

These people like Sherrod Brown are both stupid and crazy. What he's saying is like oh let the criminal go since they've been living and committing crimes for years in the US. His talk is drug cartel talking points.

Congress members from both sides of the aisle hold these anti-American ideas. It is not fair to the American people to not deport illegal aliens, those here ten to fifteen years included. There are all kinds of excuses. They have been here a long time, they were brought here as children, they have lived good lives, they pay taxes, they do jobs Americans won't do, etc.

Our government has been complicit in illegal immigration, refusing to fully enforce immigration laws or actively pursue identity theft, fraud, the employers who hire illegal aliens.

Absolutely. They all have to go. Every day they were here "living and working", they were sucking benefits and stealing jobs from Americans.
