Thread: NE OPS Schools Offer Tests in SPANISH

DEAR ACTIVISTS: A local Omaha newspaper article reports the Omaha Public Schools will spend $3,000+ of taxpayer money to provide testing in Spanish. Other foreign languages will not be provided due to cost. WE NEED TO STOP THIS ACTION BY OPS - Shown below is the article link, Nebraska's State Constitution English as the Official Language and the Governor, Attorney General and Board of Education members's email and phone numbers. PLEASE LET THEM KNOW THEY ARE FAILING TO FOLLOW OUR STATE'S CONSTITUTION, WE DO NOT WANT OUR TAX DOLLARS SPENT ON POLICIES THAT DO NOTHING BUT DELAY/DETER ILLEGAL ALIENS/ALIENS FROM LEARNING ENGLISH.

Section 27 – English Language to be Official
The English language is hereby declared to be the official language of this State, and all official proceedings, records and publications shall be in such language, and the common school branches shall be taught in said language in public, private, denominational and parochial schools.

this is the USA not Mexico . the Language is Enghish in this Country so what part don't you understand ? if you & your wife don't Like it go to Mexico with them & we are going to fight you on this one

In my opinion teh way to handle this to basically come on top of the argument is to ask:

Why is the Hispanic ethnic group favored and other ethnic groups discriminated against? Is this a reflection of our values?
If you cannot test in other language and cater to all ethinc groups as necessary than you don't do it for anybody.

The only way to teach them a lesson is to SUE them , no cares about anything until money is involved . If they are refusing to test in other languages they are clearly discrminating !m
