DEMS in DENIAL: Ocasio-Cortez Insists Border Crisis ‘ Not the Same as What Happened During Trump’

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doubled-down on her party’s assertions that the crisis on the southern border has nothing to do with Joe Biden’s policies; insisting Donald Trump “took babies out of the arms of their mothers.”

“What is happening here is not the same as what happened during the Trump administration, where they took babies out of the arms of their mothers and deported their families and permanently traumatized these children,” said AOC.

“This keeps happening over and over and over again is a political failure by both parties!” she added.

New video surfaced on social media Thursday showing dozens of migrants walking into downtown McAllen, Texas after being released by Border Patrol Agents.
“I’m in McAllen, TX where Border Patrol is releasing families around the clock and testing them before they are walked over to a Catholic Charities shelter. From here, families will depart for destinations across the US. Note: no ankle monitors like in 2019,” posted a reporter with the Washington Examiner.

Agents with the Federal Government released disturbing footage Thursday of human traffickers viciously throwing a 5-year-old and 3-year-old girl over the border wall into the United States then running back into Mexico.

“Smugglers, under cover of night, scaled a 14 ft. border barrier and cruelly dropped 2 young children in the middle of the New Mexico desert. The girls, ages 3 & 5, were left miles from the nearest residence. Thank you STN Agents for rescuing these children!” posted an agent with the El Paso Sector of Border Patrol.

“I’m appalled by the way these smugglers viciously dropped innocent children from a 14-foot border barrier last night. If not for the vigilance of our agents using mobile technology, these two tender-aged siblings would have been exposed to the harsh elements of desert environment for hours,” Chavez said.

“We are currently working with our law enforcement partners in Mexico and attempting to identify these ruthless human smugglers so as to hold them accountable to the fullest extent of the law,” she added.
