Democrats are looking for "Dreamers" to help them in campaigns against Republicans in 2018, according to The Hill.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has bought Twitter ads looking for those in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program — undocumented immigrants brought to the county as kids, the website reported.

"This digital campaign comes at a critical time for the nation, as House Republicans continue to play politics with future of hardworking immigrant communities," said Javier Gamboa of the DCCC.

"The fate of DREAMers and DACA recipients is at risk as long as Republicans control the House, and these ads will help us build a coalition of DREAMers and DACA recipients who are motivated to elect more Democrats in the 2018 midterms," he added.

Those lawmakers targeted by the DCCC include Republican Reps. Carlos Curbelo of Florida, Will Hurd of Texas, Steve Knight of California and Mario Diaz-Balart of Florida, according to The Hill.

Curbelo and Diaz-Balart have been vocal supporters of DACA, the website said.

Tuesday marked the fifth anniversary of the DACA deportation protections, NBC News reported. However, it is a temporary benefit that must be renewed every two years, the network news said.

And The Hill noted the future of the program and it's nearly-800,000 participants is uncertain.
