Denver CBP Officers Apprehend Man Wanted for Sexual Assault

Denver, Colorado - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at Denver International Airport apprehended a Legal Permanent Resident, Monraaj Sahota arriving from Vancouver, Canada on May 20, 2009. The subject was wanted for Sexual Assault in an outstanding arrest warrant issued by Adams County, Colorado. CBP officers were notified by PreClearance CBP officers in Vancouver, Canada that the wanted individual was traveling to Denver, Colorado. The CBP officers met the plane on arrival and took the suspect into custody.

After confirming the subject's identity, CBP officers remanded the subject to the custody of the Denver Police Department to effect extradition.
