"Smart Enforcement" The First Goal For Immigrants Rights Groups

Last month, in a church in Chicago’s Humbolt Park neighborhood, Rep. Luis Gutierrez began laying the groundwork for the upcoming battle to usher comprehensive immigration reform through the new Congress.

Gutierrez told a standing-room-only crowd that by heading to the polls last November, they’d helped turn the political tide. But unless immigrants kept the pressure on, there would be no guaranteed end to the repressive immigration policies that continue to tear families apart.

We need to put a system in place that has the ability to catch them in the act of doing necessary things like going to the emergency room, the day labor sites, schools, and the motor vehicle dept. When they come to us and receive benefits that should be reserved for citizens and get caught at that location they can be documented and detained then deported. DDD!!! Then they can only blame them selves for getting caught in the act of fraud!! Humane reasons almost disappear. When a American Citizen gets caught for a crime they go to jail and is "Separated" from their family too its only Fair no mor no less Laws apply to everyone White, Black, Brown, Frickin Purple for all I care just take care of the problem.
