CAMERON COUNTY - Four Mexican nationals are facing drug trafficking and money laundering charges after authorities found drugs and money during a traffic stop in Brownsville.
Cameron County Sheriff's deputies found 23 kilograms of cocaine after pulling a car over on Paredes Line Road Friday morning. The deputies also found a large amount of cash. There is no word yet on the total amount of money.
Deputies said the cocaine has a street value of $500,000.
Deputies took the men into custody. Federal authorities are now looking into the case, officials said.
