California in Fiscal Trouble Again
California in Fiscal Trouble Again
Despite soaring popularity, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger faces a looming budget crisis much like the one that forced the 2003 recall of his predecessor and brought the former actor and bodybuilder to power.
Schwarzenegger was swept into the governor’s office to replace embattled Gov. Gray Davis in October 2003 with the promise that he’d reduce debt and “tear up the state’s credit card.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Believe me, California is totally screwed up. I have never lived anywhere else, but we have been looking around lately at other options.

Arnold, listen .. it's basic math. You have more people than your state can sustain successfully because you refused to secure your border, apply for state immigration enforcement and use your power to demand that the US Government deport illegal aliens. Instead you promised them free medical care.
What were you thinking?

I recently (maybe a month ago) called maybe 6 of the California state assemblymen re: various issues on illegal immigration. I made sure to bring up w/EACH of their receptionists the fact that people are not going to continue
living in a state that pours out tax dollars to support illegal aliens. I noted that some of my friends have left California for good -- and others are planning to do so as soon as they possibly can. I told them all that it's going to be tough having a budget when no one's left to pay the taxes because the illegals aren't going to be able to fund them.por las chupacabras todo, fuero de las chupacabras nada

[b]“If that means we should go and shoot for, as some suggested, a simple majority to pass the budget rather than a two-thirds vote,â€

Oh Yes, but the illegals are "good for the economy", no one could "get by without their labor".
Everyone I know that lives in CA pays tremendous taxes, especially property. It still is not enough to make up for all the freeloaders that end up there. (MOD EDIT)
What do you think California's jail situation is like, how many illegals are in there, and what does it cost to keep them up?
I hate both Dems and Repubs right now. CA is an example of liberal crap that has caught up with the state. Too many programs, too much free lunch, and no one to pay for it.I'm "Dot" and I am LEGAL!
