Saudi Arabia deports 22 Egyptians for violating residency requirements

Cairo International Airport has received on Tuesday 22 Egyptians deported by the Saudi authorities for violating residency requirements.The deportees arrived on the Saudi Airlines flight No. 305 coming from Jeddah.

Noteworthy، There are around 1 million Egyptian nationals in Saudi Arabia، representing about 40 percent of Arab expatriates، the largest in the country.

Saudi Arabia has been cracking down on illegal workers in the wake of an amnesty in 2013، which allowed thousands to sort out their paperwork and remain there.
