Immigration officials deported more than 100,000 parents of children with United States citizenship during a 10-year time span, according to a report by the Department of Homeland Security Office Of Inspector General.

Between 1998 and 2007, officials removed 108,434 parents on a variety of immigration violations, ranging from being in the country illegally to committing crimes that affected their immigration status, according to the report released Thursday.

During the same time, a total of nearly 2.2 million unauthorized immigrants were removed from the United States, the documents stated.

Most of those deported were removed for being in the country without authorization and criminal violations, such as drug charges or assault or traffic offenses, the report stated.

The analysts found that more than a third of the parents were previous offenders who had returned to the U.S. after being removed once.

The U.S. citizen children were not held in detention, the report said. In addition, officials reported that they would not knowingly hold a U.S. citizen child in detention. It is unclear in the report what happened with these children.

only 12 MILLION MORE TO GO...

and I gotta tell you... thats government figures and they are skewed to the low side

I have seen estimates of 20 - 48 million undocumented in this country and from the amount of Illegal Aliens that are visible I would believe those amounts long before I would believe our corrupt government

Then they came back had an anchor baby trying to stay her. You have to deport the children and other family members or they will come back with the help of who ever has the kids or is left behind.

Anchor babies are NOT US citizens. The misapplication of the 14th Amendment needs to END!
