SANTO DOMINGO (Reuters) - The Dominican Republic will begin constructing a fence along its 376-kilometer (234 mi) border with Haiti later this year to curb unauthorized migration and illicit trade, President Luis Abinader said on Saturday.

"In a period of two years, we want to put an end to the serious problems of illegal immigration, drug trafficking and the movement of stolen vehicles," Abinader said in a presentation to Congress.

Construction of the border fence, whose cost has not been disclosed, will begin in the second half of 2021, Abinader said.

The barrier will include a double-fence in the "most conflictive" sections, along with motion sensors, facial recognition cameras and infrared systems, he added, speaking on the 177th anniversary of the country's independence from Haiti.

According to government estimates, about 500,000 Haitian immigrants resided in the Dominican Republic as of 2018, along with tens of thousands of their children born in the Caribbean country.

A large part of the Haitian community, which makes up about 5% of the total population, does not have residency permits.

The announcement came a month after the government agreed to help Haiti provide identity documents to its citizens living in Dominican territory.

Nobody on the planet wants this unrelenting massive invasion of our countries.

We need to launch "Return to Sender" operations and return them all.

Take a look at a map, the two countries of Haiti and the Dominican Republic divide the little island of Hispaniola neatly in half. The island of Hispaniola sits to the West of Cuba.

Haiti used to grow its own rice, but the rice fields have all been completely taken over by spreading impromptu neighborhoods of shacks. The country is completely saturated with people and starting to spill over into the Dominican Republic.

This is just a microcosm of what is happening globally and what the immigration crisis is really all about everywhere. It's about relieving the social collapse due to overpopulation from countries in Africa and South and Central America.

We need Global Population Control with birth control, vasectomies, and tubal ligations.

These breeding parasites have 8-10 mouths they cannot feed. Many are pregnant due to rape. Those raping barbarian men need to be sterilized. It is an awful culture of violence, rape, hate, murder, gangs, and crime.

They romp in the dirt and mud and in filthy shacks. It is disgusting.

I saw videos of women putting dirt into their bread cakes they make to feed their children because they have no money to feed them. It is disgusting. We give them billions of our money with ZERO results. We can feed them for another 100 years and they will continue to breed out of control and get nowhere in life.

Same culture is pouring over our Southern border. These are not innocent darlings pouring over our border. Scavengers. Their presidents need to be called on the carpet to effect change for QUALITY of life. Many of them coming here are pregnant, dragging two with them, and left four more behind with Grandma. I do not want to pay for this.

Now they "spill over", more like are DUMPED OVER, our border to deal with. Send them all back, they are destroying our neighborhoods and our country. They are dumbing down our kids in our schools. They refuse to speak or learn English. They complain and cause trouble in our schools and in our society.

They come here and live in one house with 20 people, drop more anchor babies, to get MORE welfare and food stamp money to live cheap and send money back home. 10 cars in the driveway and streets and trash neighborhoods full of graffiti and garbage. This is not "a better life". A better life in their mentality is come to the USA, breed like rats, get free money, period.

Now they all want to come here for "free" stuff, have several babies WE pay for. Hell no.

Until they control their breeding and have quality of life, they will continue to live in misery. Now they make us miserable and angry as hell that we are forced to pay for this.

Do not bring it here.

The entire world is now rising up to stop this unrelenting invasion of our countries. This is war. This must be stopped and we need chain deportation. Go home and make your own country great. Start with birth control and quit raping each other.

Yes, very harshly put, but all true, unfortunately. It could be more bluntly stated, that the pathological population growth was the result of deliberate social policy from religious authorities with an agenda to apply demography to create political dominance in democratic societies. The fallout is misery, poverty and corruption.

If people are outraged in response, it is understandable.

I just watched "My Cat From Hell" with the neighborhood overrun with Feral cats and what a problem it causes due to overbreeding, the health of the cats, and destruction of neighborhoods with 100s of cats having litters.

It is harsh, it is reality, it is in our face now with this massive, unrelenting, invasion of our countries by cultures of people who overbreed in poverty and violence.

Yes, we are outraged and we do not want this here.

I put some blame on religion. They need to loose their tax-exempt status and start paying up for these mouths to feed, not drop them on our backs to pay for! This is disgusting to encourage people to have 8-10 offspring with no means to care for them. It is immoral, it is sick, and horrific to do to their own kids. Shame on the Church and shame on the people doing this.

I put more of the blame on their raping men and their barbaric cultural society. Their women too, they are no angels.
