Previously-Deported Illegal Alien Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Teen With Down Syndrome

Authorities in Brazoria County, Texas are searching for a 25-year-old illegal alien from Mexico accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl with Down syndrome.

Jesus Atrian, who is already a registered sex offender in Texas and has been deported before, reportedly assaulted the victim in her home in Pearland on Monday afternoon.

According to local news reports, Atrian knew the girl’s family.

Brazoria County Sheriff’s Department records show that Atrian, who has facial tattoos bearing his name, was booked into jail there on April 12, 2012 and charged with indecency with a child. The offense occurred on March 1, 2011.

Records maintained by the Texas Department of Public Safety show that the victim in that case was eight years old.

The case was adjudicated last August. Atrian, who was assessed by the state agency as being low-risk, was given eight years probation and ordered to community supervision. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement requested Atrian be held on a detainer, and according to the Texas Department of Public Safety’s website, he was deported.

Atrian had been in jail before in Brazoria County.

He was arrested for public intoxication on June 29, 2008, when he was 18 years old. He was released and ordered to pay a $300 fine. He was picked up two years later for failure to pay the fine.
