Dreamer activists descend on D.C. demanding DACA (videos, photos)

The fight for DACA has brought a huge collection of activists together to march on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. on Monday, marking the deadline for the Obama-era DACA program. President Trump had given lawmakers until March 5 to craft a legislative fix for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
Illegal alien “dreamers” are marching alongside LGBTQ activists, Muslims for Dreamers and Jews for Dreamers.
Muslim Women’s March activist Linda Sarsour had a group of Imams in tow from California, holding signs that read “Muslims for Dreamers.”
Many of the protesters plopped themselves down in the middle of the street, closing down Independence Avenue, forcing Capitol Police to move in a start making arrests.
