CBP Seizes Methamphetamines, Commercial Bus

Hidalgo, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the Hidalgo/Reynosa International Bridge seized nearly 63 pounds of methamphetamines with an estimated street value of $950,000.

On Feb. 2, CBP officers conducted an inspection on a northbound commercial passenger bus. During a secondary inspection, CBP officers discovered and seized 25 methamphetamines packages found within the bus’s overhead baggage compartment area. CBP also seized the commercial bus.
